Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Born Free Eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mashed fully ripe bananas
  • 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended.
  3. Add eggs and sour cream; mix well.
  4. Add bananas and combined dry ingredients; mix just until moistened. Stir in nuts.
  5. Pour into greased and floured 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  6. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Cool 5 min.; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely before slicing. Refrigerate leftovers.
